Why You Should Use Klaviyo for Email Marketing in 2025
Introduction
Every brand owner using Shopify to host their brand seemingly uses Klaviyo for their email marketing efforts. It might make someone new to the ecommerce world question it.
In this blog I'm going to share exactly why I think every Shopify store owner should use Klaviyo to run their ecommerce email marketing.
Table of Contents
- Cost
- Support
- Segmentation
Cost
Everyone likes to complain, but the ROI on email marketing is always good. No matter how you cut it, an average ROAS of $38 is really f*cking good.
You might be paying more than necessary because you haven't cleaned your list.
But if you're using your list properly, the cost to host your list will be the last thing on your mind.
Support
So one thing I've learned after 5 years in the space is that not all softwares are created equal. Even some of the biggest companies out there absolutely screw their users out of a good support system.
When I first got started, I thought it was just be hard for them to get right, but I've worked with brands hundreds of times smaller than the biggest brands winning with great customer service and support.
I know it's possible.
At Klaviyo their live chat and email support are top tier. They have always been helpful with the issues I run into.
If their chat is unavailable or can't help me directly, they'll escalate directly to email and by then I should have an answer.
When you run a business, there are many moving parts.
So knowing who can help you quickly is super important.
And Klaviyo has always been there for me.
Segmentation
I know many email apps tend to have some sort of segmentation, but I didn't realize how good Klaviyo's was until I tried using Mailchimps for a friend.
It just isn't good.
Klaviyo might look more confusing at times, but you aren't a dumbass. You are a founder. So you can figure it out.
I believe in you.
The segmentation helps me help the brands I work with. So much so I made a custom tool that helps me use Klaviyo segmentation abilities and find my winning audience.
